Method
Results Training
Below is the four levels of training as compiled by Dr Donald
Kirkpatrick –from the American Society for Training
and Development. We have included this in order to show the
effectiveness of the training method we’ve adopted in
comparison to general practice.
Level 1 Reactionary Training
Presentations and seminars -aimed at rising consciousness
and focusing attention on a specific subject. While these
programs generally result in an immediate burst of activity
in the short term, their long-term benefit is limited
Level 2 Traditional Training
College -style presentations convening a subject in-depth
in an academic setting. The “textbook approach”
rarely leads to long-term gain in business due to lack of
real-world application
Level 3 Skills Training
Workshops,- during which new techniques and behaviours are
presented and practiced over an extended period of time. Results
from this training vary greatly, depending on whether a sound
evaluation and measurement process is in place to encourage
the use of the learned skills
and lastly the method we use:
Level 4 Training for Results
Training specifically designed to change behaviours
based on pre-determined business objectives. Evaluation
and measurement criteria are developed prior to training and
carefully applied over an extended period of time. This
type of training results in permanent change
The graph below compiled by Dr Kirkpatrick is a representation
of the impact on work performance over a set period of time
using the different training techniques.

The difference is quite evident between the methods where
application is not a pre-requisite to the process. The first
two methods have no long term impact on work performance where-as
the process where application is involved there is a permanent
change.
Our Process
<
We follow an Outcome Based Approach and address the problems or challenges that are important. We are not traditional trainers or consultants but facilitators initiating behavioral change towards achieving specific results.
Implementing the process over four or eight weeks has many benefits.
Participants don't feel overwhelmed and have sufficient time
to master each step. Most importantly new behaviours are applied
directly to real business issues. Because of our unique process,
we are able to implement these changes into your organization
to help ensure long-term, ongoing results.
